Join the members of Ignota as we celebrate the official release of our 7-track EP, "Cœur de Cour" ("heart of the court"). You'll get to hear music not previously released online, get a first look at our accompanying songbook, and get to meet and geek out with the band. "Cœur de Cour" explores the varied ways that the idea of "courtly love" appears in the songs of the troubadours and trouvères - Occitan and French songwriters of the 12th and 13th centuries. These pieces express the many facets of love, from flirtation to betrayal, devotion to grief. Our release party will take place online, so that you can join from wherever you are, and will last approximately 90 minutes.
